JAMMU, Feb 14: Instead of celebrating Valentine's Day, the Vimal Muni College of Education, Ramgarh in Samba district today observed the day as Matri -Pitri Pujan Diwas.
On the occasion, patron of the College Sanjeev Gupta was the chief Guest while Anu Gupta chairperson of the college presided over the function. This function was organized with a very specific purpose to aware the students and the society about the importance of love with everyone especially with parents.
Students of the college presented different cultural items to convey the message of Matri-Pitri Pujan Diwas.
Speaking on the occasion, Sanjeev Gupta highlighted the importance of Matri-Pitri Pujan Diwas. Anu Gupta chairperson of the college appreciated and encourages the students and staff for conveying such messages through cultural programme in the college.
Principal of the College Dr. S.D Gupta made the students to understand the importance of unconditional love in their life. |
