| Father, son held for running fake job racket | | | early times report Jammu, Feb 14: Police today booked father and his son hailing from Kashmir for allegedly duping lakhs of rupees from people in lieu of providing job in JKTDC here today. A case in this regard stands registered at Pacca Danga Police Station. "Based on a tip-off, Police from Pacca Danga Police Station last night raided a city hotel area falling under its jurisdiction and arrested the accused," official sources revealed. Police sources said that during frisking, fake job orders of Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Development Department (JKTDC), and other government documents were recovered from the accused identified as Krishan Kumar and his son Sahil Kumar of Karan Nagar, Srinagar. They were arrested on the complaint of one Sanjeev Kumar from whom they took rupees lakhs in lieu of providing job in JKTDC. The duo has been put on sustained interrogation. |
