Rajouri, Feb 17: Shiv Parivar Cave Committee (SPCC), of Mankote has criticized the state government, especially the tourism department, for its failure to provide basic facilities at cave situated at village Thandikassi.
As per press release a meeting of SPCC was held under the chairmanship of president Sarpanch Yogesh Sharma. While lambasting the Tourism department, state government and Rajouri Development Authority, Sharma said that all the concerned authorities have badly failed in providing basic facilities to the tourists and devotees, visiting the cave.
"About six years have been passed since the discovery of the historic cave but so far only steps leading to cave have been constructed, but no other facility has been provided" he rued.
The committee members urged Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Director Tourism, Tourism Minister, MP Madan Lal Sharma, CM Omar Abdullah to intervene in the matter for ensuring all facilities at Cave shrine. |
