UDHAMPUR, Feb 17: Police today recovered two male bodies under mysterious circumstances from different areas of Udham-pur district.
According to police sources, a male body was recovered near Patnitop whose identity has been established as Makhan Lal, 35, son of Shanker Lal of Nagolta, Tehsil Chenan.
After getting the information, police reached the spot and took the body in their custody and sent it to Primary Health Centre (PHC), Chenani for postmortem.
The body of the deceased was handed over to family members for last rites after conducting the autopsy.
Meanwhile, a male body was recovered near Tawi bridge, Chenani under mysterious circumstances.
Police took the body of the deceased whose identity was established as Jeevan Singh, 42, son of Amar Nath of Nagolta, Tehsil Chenani to PHC, Chenani for postmortem and later on handed it over to the family members for last rites.
Police have registered both the cases under 174 CrPC and further investigation is going on. |
