Rajouri, Feb 17: Tehreek Baqaie Urdu (TBU) has demanded all Members of J&K Legislative Assembly to vote and support Private Member Bill No 5 regarding amendment in Article 145 and Schedule 5 of J&K Constitution, pertaining to official language Urdu, the language which has born in India from the womb of Sanskrit. The Bill is being tabled in the Assembly Budget session starting from Feb 28 by MLA Choudhry Zulfikar
Ali. In statement, Spokesperson and General Secretary of TBU, Zakir Malik Bhallesi has said that MLA Darhal Choudhary Zulfikar Ali has submitted Private Member Bill No 5 in the Assembly Secretariat which pertained to amendment in Article 145 and Schedule 5 of the J&K Constitution. He said that this is historic bill which will provide justice to Urdu language in this state and Tehreek has appreciated the efforts of Choudhary Zulfikar Ali regarding tabling such an important bill.
He said that all Parties including National Confe-rence, Congress, PDP, Bha-rtiya Janta Party, Jammu Mukhti Morcha, Panthers Party, CPI-M and all Independent Members must come forward in the support of Bill so that the language which born in India from the womb of Sanskrit may get justice on part of the government. TBU has also appealed all Urdu organizations to come in the support of this important Bill and force the government to get it cleared for amendment in the Constitution. |
