Rajouri, Feb 17: District Information Centre (DIC) Rajouri organized a musical programme at Nawaz Public Higher Secondary School Palma. The patron of the institution Haji Sikander Khan was the chief guest on the occasion and principal of the school Nazam-Ul-Din presided over the function.
Addressing the function Haji Sikander Khan thanked the department of Information for organizing the programme in these far-flung areas to promote the culture of the state. He said that such programmes provide platform to the talented artists and boost their morale. Presented Sofiyana, Pahari, Gojri, Urdu,Dogri and Kashmiri songs.
The artists enthralled the audience and the students by their Melodious voice. The cultural items based on National integration and communal harmonies were also presented. The programme was managed by Ashfaq Mir Cultural Asstt. DIC Rajouri and Tariq Hussain was the stage secretary for the programme. |
