| Jammu, Feb 17: The 9th edition of SaMaPa Aalap, annual festival will be held in February 2014, in which, SaMaPa will focus on exploring new horizons in the blending of the traditional and folk music of the three regions of Jammu and Kashmir. This was decided in the meeting of core group of SaMaPa team, held at Jammu under the chairmanship of Santoor Maestro and Music Composer and Secretary of SaMaPa, Abhay Rustum Sopori. They expressed gratitude to the media fraternity for whole hearted support in ensuring the reach of the music festival to the people of the region and outside. Besides, the support and patronization rendered to the music festival by the Governor N N Vohra, Minister for Tourism GA Mir and others. |
