KARGIL, Feb 17: The 2nd National Ice Hockey Development Camp, organised by Kargil Ice and Snow Sports Club under the aegis of Ice Hockey Association of India and the Hockey Foundation of USA, concluded today at the Ice Hockey Rink Biamathang, here. Around 40 Winter Sports lovers, including 16 girls, attended the camp under the guidance of Canadian coaches. In the concluding function, acting Chief Executive Councilor of LAHDC, Kargil, Punchok Tashi was the chief guest, who encouraged the participants. Meanwhile the annual District Kargil Ice Hcokey Championship, which is part of the Kargil Winter Games started at Ice Hockey Rink Kargil. In this competition, five teams representing different blocks of Kargil are taking part. The meet was declared open by Assistant Director Tourism, Kargil, Syed Toha Mossavi, who was accompanied by general secretary of Kargil Ice and Snow Sports (KISS) Club, Aman Ali Khan. This competition is organised by KISS Club and sponsored by J&K State Sports Council. |
