Jammu, Feb 17: Dogra Higher Secondary School (DHSS) Jammu celebrated annual day, here at police Auditorium on Sunday. As per press release, Gulchain Singh Charak Former Minister, Member AICC and President Dogra Sadar Sabha (J&K) was the Chief Guest on the occasion. The Principal of the school, Gambhir Dev Singh Charak read out the annual Report and expressed gratitude to parents for their co-operation and frequent interaction to make the programme of the school an impressive one. A colourful cultural programme was presented by the students. The toddlers of Pre-Primary presented the Boom-Boom dance which enthralled the audiences. The Chief Guest distributed the awards and Prizes among the winners for their accomplishments in the fields of academics, sports, music and fine arts.
The Chief Guest, in his speech lauded the efforts of the school in putting up such a fine and memorable function. He focused the attention of teaching faculty towards the education of the students to play a vital role to enlighten the society as well as individuals.
