| IYC, NSUI hail Azad’s decision of sanctioning 200 ambulances | | | Early Times Report
Doda, Feb 23: National Students Union of India (NSUI) and Indian Youth Congress (IYC) members have hailed the decision of Union Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad, for sanctioning Rs 14 Crores for procurement of 200 ambulances for Jammu and Kashmir. According to press release, the NSUI and IYC activists said that with 200 new ambulances in J&K stock, our state would be able to operationalize, so as to facilitate smooth transfer of patients, particularly pregnant women and trauma cases, to the nearest health facility without any delay. They also called for rational deployment of the newly sanctioned ambulances in far off and accident-prone areas as per need especially District Kishtwar and Doda. They also hailed the decision of Azad sb who sanctioned Rs 11.70 crore for purchase of latest equipment for District Hospital Doda and Sub-District Hospital Bhaderwah. They appealed for sanctioning of Sub District Hospitals for Chatroo and Bhalessa area as areas are having more than 50,000 population and are facing lot of problems. State General Secretary NSUI Wassim Sajjad Saroori,District President NSUI Doda Vishal Kotwal, District President NSUI Kishtwar Saqib Lone, Vice President Doda Ravi Ashwin, President Polytechnic Kishtwar Parkash Singh, GDC President Kishtwar Sidique Aftab, GDC President Doda Niaz Wani, GDC President Bhaderwah Rahul Kotwal beside others hailed the decision. |
