Kishtwar, Mar 4 : Even after the lapse of nearly three months, since issuance of order of posting of Babu Ram (KAS) as Assistant Commissioner Revenue Kishtwar with the direction to him to join as ACR Kishtwar on January 16, 2013, but same is yet to assume his office. The absence of ACR Kishtwar, is causing land acquisition work, to suffer badly in Kishtwar district particularly where the land acquisition process for six major power projects to be constructed in Kishtwar District is in full swing, sources said. "Large number of land owners who land compensation is laying pending can be seen frequently visiting the office and return empty handed besides the land acquisition process for various power projects is hampering" an official said. ACR post is the second post after SSP Kishtwar which is laying vacant as the government fail to replace the post of SSP Kishtwar after Bhim Sen Tutti was relieved by the government for deputation to his home state. |
