ET Plus Report JAMMU, Mar 4: Minister for PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control, Sham Lal Sharma once again showed that whenever he has to speak his mind he will not dither and will assert it meaningfully. Sham Lal objected vociferously to CPI(M) legislator M Y Tarigami's statement while he was taking part in the discussion on adjournment motion on Afzal Guru's hanging. When Tarigami said the execution was carried out to satisfy the conscience of section of ultra nationalists, section of media and few other people, Minister Sham Lal rose and said that before speaking Tarigami should keep in mind that while taking up Adjournment Motion a set course of procedure is adopted and he should follow it. Sham pointing towards Tarigami said, "PDP leader Mehbooba Mufti spoke on the issue before you and followed the routine practice of an Adjournment Motion, however, you are raising such issues which are not part of the Motion. "You (Tarigami) should refrain from raising national and international issues as they could have wider implications," he added. |
