ET Plus Report Jammu, Mar 4 : Protests were held under the leadership of Baratiya Janta Yuva Morcha J&K State over lack of proper facilities by the government to people and stranded passengers of Kargil from Jammu-Srinagar to Kargil. Hundreds of passengers protested against the failure of the government in solving their problems. State Spokesperson Jamyang Tsering Namgyal said, "In this age of global village where people travel from one part of the world to another in less than one hour people of Kargil and Zanskar are still suffering." He lamented that the Kargil administration was not concerned about the fate of stranded passengers in Leh "while the VIP or their families are travelling to Kargil everyday." State Vice-President Sanjay Kumar, State Secretary Makson Bharti, State Media Secretary Tarun Sharma, State Publicity Secretary Kr. Rajeshwar Singh and others also participated in the protest demonstration.
