Rajouri, Mar 4: Krishi Vigyan Kendra Rajouri on Monday organized training programme on "Developing entrepreneurial skills among rural youth". According to press release, twenty nine farmers from different villages of block Kalakote namely Argi, Dhalori, Bal jarralian, Dangri, Potha, Jigni and Sailsui participated in the programme. Dr. Sanjay Khar (Programme Coordinator) KVK, Rajouri informed the participants that conducting vocational training programme was one of the mandates of the KVK. Dr. Rakesh Sharma informed the trainees that before choosing any enterprise, first hand knowledge and technical skills is a pre-requite for the particular enterprise. Dr. Kamlesh Bali Jr. scientist (Entomology) delivered lecture on "Apiculture as a viable income generating enterprise". Dr. Punit Choudhary, SMS (Agroforestry) made the trainees aware about the adoption of Cultivation of Medicinal and aromatic plants for sustainable source of livelihood. |
