Jammu, Mar 4 : Shantipuram Mohalla Welfere Committee (SMWC) Lower Roop Nagar today formed its new body.
According to press release, H S Gupta and Shamsher Singh have unanimously been elected Chairman and President respectively by dissolving the old unit, in a general body meeting held here.
The Committee also nominated Ramesh K. Pandita as Vice President, Chaman lal Madan as General Secretary, Ramesh Pandita as Secretary Triloki Nath Raina as cashier and Dwarka Nath Bhat Publicity Secretary. Committee also nominated 15 other members. On this occasion, the President Shamsher Singh thanked the residents of the area for the honour and assured that the issues of locality including un-interrupted electricity, water supply, cleanliness and construction of drains, street and others will be taken up with the concerned authorities. |
