Rajouri, Mar 4: National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD), Rajouri on Monday organised an awareness programme on revised Kissan Credit Card scheme at Kangri Panchyat, block Sunderbani district Rajouri. According to press release, Des Raj, District Development Manager, NABARD highlighted the scheme guidelines and benefits of Kisan Credit Cards (KCC). He also informed that KCC was valid for five years and loan limit has been fixed on the basis of scale of finance and land holdings. MS Bahu, Area Manager, J&K Grameen Bank in his address informed the farmers the benefits of Kisan Credit Cards and progress made by their bank in issue of Kisan Credit Cards. He also informed that under KCC farmers are eligible to avail crop loans at cheaper rates and interest suvbention is also available to them. He also highlighted the new schemes introduced by the Bank regarding NEFT/RTGS and Western Union Money Transfer. He distributed KCC pass books among the farmers on spot. |
