Jammu, Mar 12: Commonwealth Educational Media Centre for Asia (CEMCA) New Delhi, in association with Maulana Azad National Urdu University, Hyderabad, has been organising three days International Workshop on "Regional Consultation on Development of Quality Guidelines for Open Educational Resources" from March 13 at MANUU. According to Prof. K R Iqbal Ahmed, Director DDE and R Thyagarajan, Head Administration, CEMCA, Prof. Gajarajan Dhanarajan, former CEO and President of Commonwealth of Learning, Vancouver, Canada will present the key note address. Prof Mohammad Miyan, Vice-Chancellor MANUU will also especially present in the inaugural function. Vice chancellors, from South Asian Countries including Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, India and Malaysia will take part in the seminar. Renowned academicians from Malaysia, Pakistan, Male and India are present paper on Open Educational Resources and importance of evolving quality parameters especially keeping in view the reach and spread of Open and Distance Learning. Prof. Paul Kawachi, an International educational expert from China will present the gatherings & the guidelines on quality assurance for Open Educational Resources so that the authors could build these components while preparing the contents for study materials that would be presented as Open Educational Resources. |
