Jammu, Mar 12: In a high profiled case of alleged harassment the Director General of Police (J&K) DGP Ashok Prasad and Sr Superintendent of Police (SSP) Pulwama are likely to presents him personally infront of Privilege Committee of Rajya Sabha but a 'million dollar' question arises here in many minds where would the common man of Jammu go to complain against Khakhi if they are victimized, some Jammuites opinioned.
Commenting upon the news item appeared on news portals, some victims of alleged police harassment on promised anonymity observed that NC leader and MP (Rajya Sabha), Ghulam Nabi Ratanpuri in an alleged harassment case has raised the issue to Privilege Committee Rajya Sabha but being an MP he could take up the issue at higher spheres but where would a commoner (the small fries who have no access in higher circles) go ?.
"There are many instances when Khakhi is alleged for harassing the common people be it business entrepreneurs or the poor people of state at times have to prefer 'silence' against the unnecessary harassment or victimization despite being law abiding citizens," one of them evoked recalling his odd experiences. He said, "Mr Rattan Puri is a MP and has an easy access to the higher spheres and also has got the Privilege Motion in a case of alleged harassment but where will the common Jammuite go as in many cases these victimized commoner and business entrepreneurs turned aside from Khakhi only for the savior of their business practice apprehending Khakhi may put a spoke in the smooth personal life and the trade as well.'
