2 docs drown in Tawi Deceased include MLA's nephew 3/17/2013 9:20:05 PM ET Plus Report Jammu, Mar 17:Two doctors drowned in river Tawi at Manthal mysteriously today. The deceased include the nephew of MLA Chaman Lal Gupta. Reports said the incident took place at noon when the duo went down to river Tawi from Manthal road for photography. Reports added that a group of four youth went to Manthal for having meals. Soon after, reports said, the two doctors Nitin Gupta son of OP Gupta of Kaleeth Mohalla, nephew of MLA and son of Vikrant Sharma Ramesh of Karan Nagar went for photography towards the river but did not come back. Nitin was posted in government hospital while Vikrant was serving in Vivekanand Hospital. Police sources said that when the duo did not come back their companions, who are engineers by profession informed the police. The police rushed to the spot and with the help of 19 Para military divers fished out their bodies. Police has registered a case under section 174 CrPC.
