| Army organizes medical camp | | | ET Plus Report
Kargil, Mar 17 : About two hundred villagers were treated at free medical camp which was organized by Army at Army Goodwill School Faroona.
According to press release, as part of operation Sadhbhavna medical and veterinary camps were organized at Faroona on under the aegis of forever in Operation Sadhbhavna division.
Speaking on the occasion, the Commander 8 Mountain Artillery Brigade, Brigadier Sameer Gupta highlighted the importance of strengthening the bonds between the army and civil population for the development of area.
Earlier, a team of doctors treated a larger number of villagers and domestic animals during the medical camp. A large quantity of medicines was distributed among the locals by the doctors. The response of the people of village of Suru valley towards the camp was overwhelming and appreciative. |
