Jammu, Mar 17 : 60 RR based at Samote in Budhal has saved the life of a 7 years old girl who received 30 percent burn injuries and her parents could not afford the treatment in civil hospital. Kulzum daughter of Faiazal Shah, a laborer received 30 burn injuries on her back after a kerosene lamp fell on her on March16 at village Daraj. The matter came to the notice of army and she was brought to the medical infirmary of Rashtriya Rifles Battalion Samote where the medical officer and his staff administrated prompt requisite medical treatment to this grief stricken child. Amid shrill screams of distress and pain the doctor and his team fought against certain infection throughout the night and now the child is out of danger where, according to unit officers, she will be treated till she heals completely. |
