ET Plus Report Rajouri, Mar 17 : Rashtriya Rifles Battalion, located at Kalal, organised a month long plumbing training course for 30 local unemployed youth of village Dabbar Potha, Tehsil Nowshera in collaboration with Micro Small Medium Enterprises (MSME) Development Institute, Jammu. Aim of training was to channelise resourceful energy of youth in a constructive manner and make them qualified, to be self reliant. Month long training also drew overwhelming response from the youth, which was evident from great zeal and enthusiasm with which they participated in the complete training schedule. Virendra Sharma, Director MSME, Jammu explained their respective schemes for the benefit of the people and also about the availability of self employment avenues, post qualification in Plumbing Cadre. The certificates were also distributed to the youth by Commanding Officer of the Battalion and Director, MSME, Jammu. The closing ceremony was attended by the Army Officers, Director and Deputy Director of MSME, Jammu, Director of J&K, SC, ST and Backward Class Development Institute, Director, Rural and Self Employment Training Institute, Deputy Manager of J&K Bank, Sarpanch of the village and other eminent persons. |
