| Ruckus in GMC hospital ahead of minister's visit | | | Et Plus Report
Jammu, Mar 21 : Doctors in GMC hospital protested against traffic cops and even threatened to go on strike after their vehicles were lifted from the hospital parking by traffic cops.The ruckus was started ahead of minister Taj Mohiudin's visit in the hospital.However, the same was pacified after minister's intervention. The episode took place when traffic van lifted vehicles from the parking lot in GMC hospital on the complaint of the hospital authorities that some outsiders parked their vehicles in an unauthorized way thus made jaming in the hospital.To clear the way for minister the traffic van started liftted the vehicles.
When doctors realized that their vehicles have been lifted from the hospital,they started protest against the police and demanded their vehicles back. Meanwhile,minister also reached in the hospital for inauguration purpose.He later directed the authoriteis that only those vehicles embedded with doctor's sticker on windsheet would be allowed to park in the hospital parking. The lifted vehicles of the doctors also later restored back to them. |
