| BOSE, edu Institutes hand in glove for mass copying: NSF | | | et plus report JAMMU, Mar 21: National Secular Forum (NSF) has taken a strong exception to mass copying in various government and private schools in the Higher Secondary School examinations and blamed the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) officials for having hand-in-glove with the management of private schools. Addressing the press conference here on Thursday, Sukhdev Singh, NSF state vice-president said that mass copying was being encouraged by government and private schools in the Higher Secondary School examination, that too, with the active involvement of JKBOSE officials. “It is highly unfortunate that senior Board officers including Joint Secretary (Examination) JKBOSE B R Sharma have failed to take corrective measures despite the fact they were informed about mass copying in various government and private schools at Manwal, kathar, Khoon, Nagrota and other parts of the region,” the NSF leader said. Singh said the private schools had paid a hefty amount to the Board officials and teachers on duty for allowing mass copying at exam centers set up at various government and private schools. “It is a grave injustice with poor and deserving students and it will have serious ramifications in future. The copying menace will also spoil the future of youth,” the leader said. He demanded that Joint Secretary (Examination) JKBOSE should be removed from his post for his failure to take stern action against the schools encouraging mass copying. “We request the Deputy Chief Minster Tara Chand, who holds the portfolio of School Education Department, to take appropriate action in this regard,” Singh said. Among those who were present in the press conference include Balveer kumar, Qayoom Malik, Barket Ali and Sunil Kumar. |
