Doda , July 30: All India Student Federation (AISF) Doda Unit today elected its new office bearers.
As per press release, National Secretary AISF, Sukhjinder Singh Mahesevri was the Chief Guest on the occasion while president AISF, Ajaz Ahmed was the guest of honour. Dr. Akash mahnas presided over the meeting.
Vineet Rakwal was elected as president, Mohammad Saleem and Monika Bhatia was elected as vice President and Ranbir Singh as manager, Rajinder as general secy, Manish Chandal as Assistant Secy, Asiya Iqbal as Deputy secy, Jignu Bhagat and Vikas Singh as stage secy.
Meanwhile speaking on the occasion, Ajaz Ahmed stressed upon the role of AISF in present deteriorating education system and also appreciated Doda AISF unit for their role in reforming and improving education in this hilly backward District of J&K.
In his address, Dr. Akash Manhas highlighted the importance of education in the development of nation and role of student in improving the existing education scenario.
Other who spoke on the occasion included Ishtaq Ahmed, Nuzhet Iqbal, Sallah-ud-din, Thakur Yug Raj and Des Raj Manhas. |
