| BOPEE lacks credibility | | | ET Report JAMMU, July 30: The BOPEE is all set for yet another drama. This time the counseling and allotment of streams of MD/MS and PG diploma is scheduled to be held on July 31. The aspiring candidates have been urged to remain present in person. But will it make any difference? Without casting aspersions on the BOPEE, it needs to be mentioned that candidates have expressed apprehensions about the fairness and transparency of the allotment /counseling. Talking to Early Times, some candidates said that they cannot expect fairness from a body that has miserably filed to conduct the CET recently. Allegations of paper leak and irregularities were leveled on the BOPEE recently forcing it to issue a paid clarification. The CET was held a fresh last week. Even though no complaints have been received this time, most of the candidates and their parents have kept their fingers crossed. The candidates have sought monitoring of the process by a panel of experts. "We cannot help it. It does not look nice but we are apprehensive. Our career is at stake", they said adding `BOPEE lacks credibility.' |
