JAMMU, July 30: Placed in Group-C, Jammu and Kashmir shall be playing four matches, out of a total of eight outings, on the home grounds in the upcoming Ranji Trophy season starting from October 27.
However, J&K is scheduled to play their opening match on home ground against Goa between November seven and November 10.
Besides Goa, J&K shall be playing against Himachal Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Kerela, Maharashtra, Assam, Hyderabad and Tripura in the league round.
Out of the eight league ties of Group-C, J&K shall host Goa, Kerela, Assam and Hyderabad. Other four away matches will be played against Himachal Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Pune and Agartala.
It has been reliably learnt that the North Zone fixture committee of the Board of Control for Cricket (BCCI) has also finalized the schedule for other age groups in a meeting held recently. Meanwhile, with the release of fixture, the Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) has started looking into the possibilities start the coaching camps in the senior groups at the wing level.
