Jammu, July 30: Duggar Pradesh Party (DPP) urged the Centre especially UPA leadership to declare immediately statehood to Tclangana region of Andhra Pradesh as they have very strong case for it and further demanded to fulfill demands immediately without putting people demanding Gorkha Land and Duggar Pradesh to test.
In a statement DPP leadership said that India is a country of different identities, different cultures, and different geographical and historical conditions and aspirations of formation of states surely strengthen India and it is the duly of the national leadership to fulfill such demands immediately without testing people of Talangana, Gorakha Land & Duggar Pradesh. Duggar Pradesh Party accused Congress for delaying the matter for their political opportunism since long and forcing the people to go for agitations and later peaceful agitations turned into violent one causing huge losses of life and property.
It also said with formation of small states, country has healthy experience of all-round progress.
Uday Chand, President, Duggar Pradesh Party reiterated their demand of Statehood to Jammu region and said we have a strong case as we are culturally, lingual, geographically, historically altogether different from each other (Jammu, Kashmir & Ladakh regions). |
