Jammu, July 30: BJP on Tuesday released first list of candidates for election to Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council- Kargil district.
At a meeting of the party's state election committee held at the party headquarters under the chairmanship of BJP State President and MLA Jugal Kishore Sharma, names of 12 candidates were cleared for different constituencies in Kargil. Sharma said that the names of candidates had been cleared with the unanimous approval of all the members of the state election committee.
He informed that the second list of the candidates will also be released soon. The candidates are Shakil Ahmed for Rambirpur, Kaniz Fatima for Bembat, Mohammad Hadi for Shargole, Haji G H Haider for Teysuru, Gulam Haider for Fayaa, Mohammad Hussain for Kargil town, Sheikh Nisar Hussein Ansari for Baroo, Haji Mohammad Hussain for Poyen, Mohammad Ali for Choskoor, Mohammad Qasim for Trespone, G H Haider for GM Pur and Mohammad Ali for Shakar. |
