Jammu, Sept 8: People Democratic Party (PDP) Sunday organizes a meeting of East constituency and also a joining programme at Bikram Chowk office here.
MLC Yash Pal Sharma, Falail Singh, Vikram Singh, District Vice President PDP Jammu, Girish Sharma District Vice President PDP Youth, Pankaj Gupta, Sonu Sani, Chaman Angral Zone President East, Bittu Pradhan, Sachin Kumar, Vinod Kumar President Ward No 19, Ritesh, Pawan, Lalit, Suresh, Aman, Ankit, Arun Manhas were present on the occasion.
Prominent among those who joined the party included Rahul, Ankit, Suresh, Ritish, Amit, Sanjay, Vishal, Anand and Vinay.
Sharma welcomed their decision of joining PDP and assured them to come up with them at every movement and struggle for their rights, development and basic needs. He flayed Omar Abdullah led coalition regime for its failure to solve day-to-day problems of masses especially unavailability of LPG cylinder and unemployment.
"One of the biggest achievements of PDP is that people of Jammu and Kashmir have accepted this party as alternative to National Conference," he claimed, adding, "It is our achievement that we have won hearts and minds of the people of Jammu and Kashmir."
He said that it was all due to the good governance of the PDP led government that people have faith on this party. "Three year was a small period but we had tried our best to come up to the expectations of the people", he said and expressed satisfaction that people of Jammu and Kashmir have appreciated the work of the PDP led regime.
