JAMMU, Sept 7: Organised by the Jammu and Kashmir Rope Skipping Association, the 3rd District Jammu Rope Skipping Championship concluded here today with the holding of valedictory function wherein District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Tirath Ram was chief guest.
Rajiv Batra and Anil Chopra were guests of honour in the prize distribution function. Earlier, around 250 boys and girls in different age groups took part in this competition which held under the supervision of Association secretary, Anu Sharma.

SPEED HOP: Under-11 year: Boys: Bhuban Sharma, SDM School, Ist; Prakhyat Chalotra, JKPS Kunjwani, 2nd ; Paras Mangotra, KC Gurukul and Harsh Mehra, KCIS, joint 3rd. Girls: Surbhi Sharma, SDM School, Ist; Arushi Sharma, SDM School, 2nd; Jasika Singh, KCIS and Amandeep Kour, KCIS, joint 3rd.
SPEED HOP: Under-14 year: Abhay, KCIS, Ist; Tejpal Singh, JKPS, 2nd and Sushil, JKPS, 3rd. Girls: Jasleen Kour, KCIS, Ist; Riya Bakshi, Army School Domana, 2nd and Sakshi Dogra, SDM School, 3rd.
SPEED HOP: Under-19 year: Boys: Atul Jagotra, Ist; Apresh Jamwal, and Vijay Vikrant, 3rd (all SDM School). Girls: Nitasha, Kajal and Priyanka (all from SDM School), Ist, 2nd and 3rd respectively. |
