| Omar Govt a non performing liability: PDP | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 8: Seeking support of the people to set up a new system of justice and equality in Jammu and Kashmir, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) today said that present government headed by Omar Abdullah has become a non performing liability on the people. Addressing series of public meetings at R S Pura and Bishnah assembly segments in connection with the campaign of the party, PDP Lok Sabha candidate from Jammu-Poonch Lok Sabha seat, Yash Pal Sharma said that despite running a coalition government in the State, both Congress and National Conference have divergent views on important issues. He said that it was all due to the lack of consensus between two coalition partners that functioning of the government has been virtually stalled. Calling upon people to teach a lesson to the coalition candidates in the coming Lok Sabha elections, Sharma sought support of the masses to solve their long pending demands. Speaking on the occasion former Rajya Sabha member and vice president of PDP Trilok Singh Bajwa said that farmers of border areas were benefitted during the regime of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed because besides restoring peace on borders, irrigation facilities were also taken up to tail end. |
