| Madan inaugurates NDF's Veterinary Support Camp | | | Early Times Report
RAJOURI, Sept 8: National Development Foundation, NDF in partnership with Save the Children with support from ECHO organized one day veterinary support camp for livelihood beneficiaries of Rajouri district. Member Parliament Madan Lal Sharma was the chief guest on the occasion. About 120 people participated in the camp. Experts from Animal Husbandry Department and Sheep Husbandry Department interacted with the participants and sensitized them about the safe keeping of the animals. Chief Functionary NDF, Rajiv Khajuria briefed that NDF has provided livelihood support to the conflict affected families in Rajouri and Poonch districts in shape of tailoring units, Karyana shops, cows and goats. Addressing on the occasion, Madan Lal Sharma informed the people that he has strongly taken up the issue of border shelling and firing with Prime Minister, Defence Minister, Home Minister and Government of India has assured full support to people residing on the line of control. While condemning the hostilities on border Sharma assured full support of Government to the people. While appreciating the role of border inhabitants Sharma maintained that people of border areas always stood with the Army to fight all threats all across the border and now this is the duty of Govt. to take all measures for safety of their life, crop, property and cattles.
