RR Battalion hands over sewing machines to girls hostel 9/8/2013 10:29:51 PM DODA, Sept 8: The Rashtriya Rifles (RR) Battalion, Doda recently handed over sewing machines to girls hostel Bhagwah based on the aspirations with long outstanding demand of the teaching staff of Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya Girls Hostel and local population. Essential items were provided under 'Operation Sadbhavana.' The girls hostel comprises of 50 students from sixth to eight standards. The girls are looked after by the staff headed by Warden Kiran Bala, seven teachers and staff of four. To promote skill development amongst girl students, RR Battalion, Doda made an endeavour to take a step forward and help the students by providing five sewing machines to them. Addressing the students and staff of the school, the representative of RR emphasised the importance of education and environment required for the children to carve out their career and stressed upon students to become responsible citizens of the nation and to follow the right path with the foundation of good virtues and social values.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
