UDHAMPUR, Sept 8: Udhampur District Unit of National Conference observed the death anniversary of Sheikh Mohd Abdullah by organizing a programme under the chairmanship of District president Rajesh Gupta Speaking on the occasion, Rajesh Guptasaid that Sher-e- Kashmir Sheikh Mohd Abdullah was one of the most distinguished political leaders of the country. Gupta said that his never-say-die attitude earned him the moniker of "Sher-e-Kashmir" (Lion of Kashmir), by his ardent supporters. Others who were present and spoke on the occasion include Lal Chand, Ram Parshotam Sharma, Advocate BB Sharma, Madhu Verma, Sandeep Khajuria, Ravi Kumar, Kewal Raina P.N Sharma and others.
