JKTF appeals administration to address long pending demands

Kathua, Sept 8: A meeting of JKTF held under the chairmanship of Parveen Singh Provincial Secretary and discussed the problems of teachers' fraternity.
The main problems discussed were filling all vacant posts of ZEO, principals, headmasters, teachers in the district. In the district seven posts of principals, Three posts of ZEO's, 8 posts of headmasters, 1200 posts of teachers are vacant as a result of which teachers face a lot of administrative and academic problems. Participants said that most of the DDO's of Education department have not filed their office returns of Income Tax as a result no individual transaction is shown by the IT department for last four to five years which is a serious lapse.
The matter was also discussed with CEO Kathua and requested him to issue directions to all the DDO's in this regard.
