Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 8: Residents of Trikuta Nagar today organized an impressive programme in order to to honor Anmol Jaswal, runner up in Indian Idol Junior -2013 at Ward No -53 Trikuta Nagar. Minster Housing, Culture and Horticulture, Raman Bhalla was the Chief Guest on the occasion and presented trophy and appreciation medal to Anmol Jaswal for his outstanding performance at national level. While addressing the public, Raman Bhalla informed that Anmol Jaswal might not have been able to lift the 'Indian Idol' trophy, but his performance as a singer has won him a lot of accolades. He is a role model for many teenagers and he had set up a benchmark for generations to come. He further informed that Anmol has become a household name and poster boy, because of his hard work and commitment towards Music. Raman Bhalla also announced cash award of Rs51,000 for Master Anmol jaswal and Rs11000 for Vidhi Jaswal. While interacting with the public, Master Anmol added that the stay in Mumbai has helped him evolve as a singer. "During the last three months I learnt a lot. My singing has definitely improved. Two teachers were regularly imparting training to us… it was a great experience," he said. Talking about his performance, Anmol said, "All my performances were good, but if I have to choose one, it was the song 'Intiha Ho Gaye Intizaar Ki' (a song from film Sharabi)." "I am happy with my performance. My aim is to become a playback singer and I will continue to work hard to achieve my goal," Anmol said. |
