Vijaypur, Nov 25: Terming Omar Abdullah led coalition regime as worst ever corrupt regime the state has witnessed so far, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) today said that this government under the leadership of young Chief Minister has crossed all limits of corruption and mal-administration.
Addressing series of public meetings at Gho Brahamana and Nandpur areas of Vijaypur Assembly segment, PDP candidate for Jammu-Poonch Lok Sabha seat, Yash Pal Sharma, MLC today said that legalization corruption and bulldozing democratic institutions were the only noticeable achievements of this government.
Sharma, while recalling mis-governance and mal-administration during the regime of previous National Conference government from 1996 to 2002, said that previous National Conference regime headed by Farooq Abdullah had openly auctioned government jobs. "The present government has moved one step forward and this government headed by Omar Abdullah has even sold professional seats in the open market", Sharma said while mentioning towards recent BOPEE scam. "Everything is on sale under Omar Abdullah regime", he said and observed that State of Jammu and Kashmir has been passing through dark period of the history. Hussain Ali Wafa, Yashpal Sharma of Vijaypur, Digvijay Singh, Jatinder Bhat, Saleem Choudhary, Noor Hussain, Balbir Raj and others also addressed the meetings. |
