KISHTWAR, Nov 25: Principal District and Sessions Judge Kishtwar Pawan Dev Kotwal today granted bail in favour of 19 accused involved in three different FIRs registered at Police Station Padder and Kishtwar.
As per the details available with "Early Times" Session Court granted bail in case FIR No 152/2013 registered U/S 395/435/427/307/336/332/353/147/148/149/RPC at Police Station Kishtwar in favour of Mohammad Rafi son of Ghulam Haider, Ashiq Hussain son of Abdul Rashid Ganie, Muzzafar Hussain son of Bashir Ahmed, Nissar Ahmed son of Abdul Rehman, Khursheed Ahmed son of Ali Mohammad, Mushtaq Ahmed son of Ghulam Rasool and Asgar Ali son of Abdul Subhan all resident of Kishtwar. In another case FIR No. 149/2013 also registered at Police Station Kishtwar U/S 435/436/427/336/353/147/148/149/RPC session court granted bail in favour of Firdous Ahmed son of Khursheed Bagwan, Ghulam Nabi son Mohammad Ramzan, Sajad Ahmed son of Abdul Gaffar, Amir Ali son of Mushtaq Ahmad, Arif Hussain son of Ghulam Mohammad Bagwan, Yasser son of Ghulam Hussain Bakshi, Majid Hussain son of Ghulam Hussain and Arshad Hussain son of Ghulam Mohammed all residents of Kishtwar.
In a case related to August 10th Padder violence, Session Court granted bail in favour of four accused involved in case FIR no 16/2013 registered u/s 307/325/147/148/RPC 7/25 Arms Act at Police Station Padder and was identified as Pritam Singh son of Radha Krishan, Kalyan Singh son of Praladh Singh, Girdhari Lal son of Shadi Lal and Joginder Singh son of Bheyien Ram all residents of Padder. However police sources informed that majority of the accused were likely to remain in the judicial custody for their alleged involvement in more violence related cases. This is for the first instance that Session Court Kishtwar granted bail to any accused in almost 16 cases registered in connection with August 9th and 10th violence at Kishtwar and Padder. It is pertinent to mention that over 50 persons were in judicial custody, besides court has issued warrants U/S 512 Cr.Pc against over 150 persons. |
