Jammu, Nov 25: Jammu and Kashmir Ladakh All department Clerical Staff Association has condemned state government for deliberately betraying from the commitment made between the employees and government on 10-03-2008, 19-02-2009, 14-05-2010 & 15-09-2011.
According to press release, a meeting of Association was held under the chairmanship of state president Babu Hussain Malik, in which all representatives condemned the state government for deliberately delaying in implementation all the pending demands of the employees including removal of pay anomalies/disparity of clerical cadre beside others.
After these " Pay Commission, the pay scales of Patwaries, Teachers, Medical Assistants, Stock Assistants, Junior Wool Shephards were upgraded from existing 3050-4910 to 4000-6000 but clerical cadre employees were deprived at all levels. At present the basic qualification for direct recruitment to the post of Junior Assistant is Graduation with Certificate Course in Computer Application along with 35 w.p.m speed.
The Government has changed the basic qualification and service rules of Clerical cadre from time to time but the Grade of Junior Assistant is still at 3050-4910 inspite of higher education & technical qualifications and hard working conditions and responsibilities, the representatives said. In the last Babu Hussain Malik appealed to Chief Minister and Finance Minister to personally intervene in this matter to do justice with the clerical cadre by removing the pay anomalies/disparity of the clerical cadre. |
