POWERGRID, JKSPDC sign MoU for maintenance of Baglihar bays 11/25/2013 10:18:17 PM JAMMU, Nov 25: A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed today between Power Grid Corporation of India, Ltd (A Government of India Enterprise) and Jammu and Kashmir State Power Development Corporation Limited (JKSPDC) for maintenance of 400 KV Baglihar Bays at Kishenpur Substation of POWERGRID. The agreement was signed by K R Suri, General Manager (O&M) on behalf of POWERGRID and P R Angurala, Chief Engineer (E) Baglihar Hydro Electric Project on behalf of JKSPDC in presence of senior officers from both organizations. As per this agreement operation and routine maintenance of 400 KV Baglihar bays I & II commissioned, for evacuation of Power from Baglihar HEP, will be carried out by POWERGRID on behalf of JKSPDC. However, major maintenance of these bays shall be carried out by JKSPDC.
