KATHUA, Nov 25: NSS unit of Government Degree College (GDC), Kathua celebrated 'Flag Day' by collecting funds for "National Funds for Communal Harmony", as a part of the series of activities during the ongoing "Quami Ekta Week". The volunteers collected Rs 15000 from the students and staff of the college.
Dr. Nater Singh, Speaking on the occasion, Principal of the college, Dr Netar Singh appreciated the efforts of NSS units for raising the funds for the needy. He further said that NSS volunteers promote the sense of communal harmony and national integration through the fund collection activity which will provide financial assistance. |
