| Student held with question paper outside examination hall, released later on | | | ET Report
Rajouri, Nov 25: As the district magistrate had not imposed prohibitory restrictions i.e. section144 CrPC outside the examination halls for ongoing matriculation bi-annual examination, police released an outsider (student) who was caught red handed with social science paper as police failed to book him in absence of said prohibitory restrictions from concerned authorities. According to sources one Mohd Tariq a student of 12th class was caught red handed with a question paper outside the examination hall today when he was moving around examination hall with a question paper provided by some appearing students from centre number 571 in Govt Higher Secondary School (Boys) to get help in copying."Rashid Ali and Mohd Qayoom , appearing in the examination threw the questions paper out of window immediately once the question papers were distributed, sources said. The students however kept some old question papers of same subject with them to dodge the examiners and supervisors which were stealthily carried by them, sources added. Sources said a policeman on duty near the examination hall noticed the movement of Tariq near the window who on noticing policeman ran from the place but was caught by the policemen after a hot chase. During frisking police recovered question paper from his possession, sources said and added that matter was brought to the notice of Superintendent Examination Hall and after legal formalities the cases of said two students were sent to Board of School Education (BOSE) authorities for further action .Meanwhile trio was taken to police station but later were released in the evening after receiving formal information from the Superintendent Examination Hall that legal action has been taken by the education authorities. |
