| Girl student tops merit list after revaluation | | | Et Report
Jammu, Nov 25 : A girl from Sunderbani who was on number 16 in the merit list declared by the Board of School Education (BOSE) in the final examination in the session 2013 has topped the merit list after revaluation of her social studies paper.
Administration of New Public School, Sunderbani today organised a function to felicitate Ashmita Gupta daughter of Parveen Gupta who passed the matriculation examination under roll number 504040 Ashmita said that after declaration of final results she got 16th position in merit list. "I was not satisfied with my social science marks and applied for the revaluation and got 17 more marks which took me to the top of the merit list." said Ashmita. It was for the first time in the history of Rajouri district that a student has topped the merit list.
Parveen Gupta said that all the credit goes to school staff and management under whose guidance my daughter has made it to the top. Managing director of New Age school said that Amite was a shining student in the school and she was also very active in extracurricular activities. |
