Jammu, Dec 1: Launching a veiled attack over Chief Minister Omar Abdullah for questioning accession, BJP president Rajnath Singh today claimed that such people were far from truth and their words are only strengthening Pakistan, which is helping terrorists.
"We know the terrorist activities in Jammu and Kashmir are only due to help given by Pakistan. It is really saddening to notice, when some CM raises questions over accession. I will only say such people are far from truth as according to a clause of Indian constitution, it becomes clear that J&K is integral part of Indian. This reality should be realized by such people", he said, adding that such statements of people only strengthen the stand of Pakistan, which was helping terrorists. Criticizing Jawahar Lal Nehru, Rajnath Singh further said that if decision regarding accession of J&K with India, would be in the hands of Sardar Balav Bhai Patel instead of Jawahar Lal Nehru, the problem would not erupt today. Earlier, he also recalled the sacrifice of Shama Parsad Mukherjee for making J&K as integral part of India, and said that if Mukherjee would not have given sacrifice then he and Narender Modi would have to enter J&K after getting permit. At 1:01 PM, Rajnath Singh and Narender Modi reached the MA stadium and came in the podium. Both were presented a traditional Dogra turban. |
