| Ramnagar Congress seeks CM's intervention, demands high level probe | | 'Celebration of political programmes in School' | | Early Times Report
Udhampur, Dec 6: Ramnagar Congress today questioned holding of political programmes in educational institutions. While taking a pot-shot at higher-ups of Education Department, Ramnagar unit of Congress has pooh-poohed conduction of political programmes within precincts of H S Katwalt in Ramnagar today itself. Members of Ramnagar Congress said the entire school had been decorated and designed as if it was a political office of Panthers Party with flags, flexes and banners of JKNPP running throughout the length and breadth of the entire school. The members also said that the leaders of JKNPP were speaking one after other, Whereas, Chief Education Officer and Zonal Education Officers were mute spectators to the entire show where government teachers were the stage secretaries and lead-speakers. Seeking initiation of appropriate remedial measures against working Chairman of JKNPP as well as guilty officers/staff of Education Department, Ramnagar Congress has flashed a memorandum to the Chief Minister for his intervention in order to set the ruffled house of education department. The meeting was however chaired by Virinder Singh, General Secretary, Block Congress Ramnagar, and others. |
