| Army organises youth career awareness camp | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Dec 6: Rashtriya Rifles Battalion based at Bagga in conjunction with Govt officials organised a 'Youth Guidance and Career Awareness' program in the Army premises at Bagga for various school and College students of Mahore Tehsil. Aim of the event was to expose the rural youth especially students, to various career path opportunities, which will in turn motivate them and contribute towards addressing the current state of unemployment, which arises due to ignorance about the career opportunities in these remote areas of Pir Panjal mountains. Event featured some senior civil and military speakers. Presentation, interactive and information Question and Answer session enabled the youth to get close and personal with various civil and military officials and thus benefited from their knowledge and experience. A presentation by Military officials offered an opportunity to really address the most critical issues of ignorance faced by the youths of these areas. Approx 50 school and college students attended the event from a wide section of the society. Principal, Govt High School, Bagga expressed his gratitude towards the efforts put in by the Army to reach up to the future generation and for organizing such a fruitful event for their career guidance. Commanding Officer of the RR Battalion welcomed the candidates and advised them to learn as much as possible and set goals for them to achieve. Principal, Headmaster and teachers of various schools of Mahore Tehsil were also present at the event. |
