| 2 bootlegger held, 105 pouches of Illicit Liquor recovered | | | Udhampur, Dec 6: In two separate incidents, Police today apprehended two bootleggers and recovered 105 pouches of Illicit Liquor from their possession here in Udhampur, police said
According to police report ,based on reliable Information a police party led by SHO Deepak Jasrotia during a checking at Mini Bus Stand near town hall Udhampur rounded up one suspicious person.
"During the frisking of suspicious identified namely as Om Parkesh s/o Labu Ram of Jib Thathi Udhampur, police team recovered 53 Pouches of J&K Excise Liquor (Desi Whisky) from his possession, police said and added that the accused was transporting these pouches in Polyethene bags for illegal sale at Jib Thathi,Udhampur.
Yet in similar incident SHO Udhampur Deepak Jasrotia, along with his team, apprehended another person identified as Tilak Raj s/o Mangat Ram of Jhajjar Kotli and recovered 52 Pouches of J&K Excise Liquor (Desi Whisky) from his possession.
Cases under FIR No 395/2013 and 396/2013 under section 48(a) Ex Act stands registered at Police Station Udhampur. |
