| PRM welcomes ban on transfers’ attachments of teaching faculty | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 9 : Welcoming the decision of the Government for imposing ban on transfers/attachments of teaching faculty in Jammu province with immediate effect, People Revolutionary Movement (PRM) referred this order as a partial victory of the movement of people though lot is required to streamlining the educational setup. In a statement issued here today PRM President, Rajinder Jamwal said that although the attachments and transfers in the school education department was going on with full pace through underhand transactions despite clear directions and Government Order No. 27-Education of 2010, that no mid-session transfer shall take place. "The PRM has been agitating and projecting the vows and grievances of hapless teaching community besides the reckless destruction of the student's career by a handful of mischief mongers who after violating the Government Order with impunity were minting money, he said while adding, "it is better late than never.' Jamwal however alleged it is disturbing to note that even after the present order of the Government, the Directorate is still issuing transfer orders making mockery of the Government's decision and urged upon the Government to order a high level probe by persons of integrity to unravel the truth and clear dust of the confusion. |
