| Sanji Morh, Chadwal Morh locals demand action against encroachers | | |

KATHUA, Dec 13: Expressing their strong resentment against encroachment along roadsides at Sanji Morh and Chadwal Morh, the locals of the area demanded from district administration that the encroachers be evicted and initiating strict action them.
The locals including shopkeepers and general public including Raj Kumar Abrol, Sham Lal, Ashok Singh and Kuldeep Singh alleged that some shopkeepers have illegally occupied the space in front of their respective shops by putting items due to which the road space has reduced to a narrow pathway. They said that the encroachment has also led to congestion and traffic jams adding that it is because of the callous attitude of the district administration which has failed to act despite bringing the matter to its notice. |
